Brown & Associates Quality Consulting, Inc. offers leadership training to address the demands of
supervisors, middle managers, and senior leadership teams.
Overview of Leadership and Supervision
Leadership candidates learn the definitions of leadership and supervision, and understand the
roles and responsibilities of supervisors and managers. In-class exercises support learning about the characteristics
of leadership.
Critical Leadership Skills Training includes sessions on each of the following topics:
1. Communication Skills
2. Personality Styles
3. Diversity and Generational Differences
4. Priorities and Time Management
5. Conflict Resolution
6. Decision Making and Problem Solving
Employment Law
This session addresses the "Top Ten" most relevant federal laws that govern the working relationships
between employees and managers. Participants learn what conditions are addressed by each law and what
their individual responsibilities are for each one.
Performance Goals
This session addresses goal setting for organizational and individual results. Participants will learn to set goals that are linked to corporate goals, based on the organization’s mission, vision, and values, and to link them to relevant ISO management standard requirements (e.g. ISO 9001, clause 6.2). In-class exercises support the establishment of SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound) objectives.
Strategic Planning
Senior leaders learn to develop strategic objectives and action plans, implement the plans, and measure ongoing progress. This training class emphasizes that strategic plans are customer focused, drive operational performance and innovation, and reinforce organizational learning.
